Supplement Showdown: Green Tea Extract VS Synephrine

Synephrine

Synephrine comes from the Citrus Aurantium plant (Bitter Orange fruit), is commonly used for weight loss and is considered to be a stimulant. When combined with other herbal stimulants such as caffeine, Synephrine is said to intensify their effects. Synephrine is known to increase metabolic rates, energy levels and the body’s capacity to burn calories. Although Synephrine is structurally similar to ephedrine, it does not have the same negative side effects on the central nervous system. This alkaloid positively impacts the nervous system which may help boost metabolism and increase focus. Other studies have shown Synephrine can help reduce appetite, promote liver health and help to reduce glucose production.


The Verdict

When putting Green Tea Extract up against Synephrine, there isn’t a clear winner.
